Connect Downtown is the City of Boston Transportation Department’s multi-phase umbrella project for redesigning iconic streets throughout Downtown to center people — residents, commuters, and tourists. Current projects within Connect Downtown include Public Garden Crossings, Cambridge Street, Charles Street, Tremont Street, and Columbus Street.
