PLAN: Downtown
Begun in 2018 and resumed in late 2022 after a two-year pause due to COVID, PLAN: Downtown is the City’s effort to modernize zoning in a sizable portion of Downtown, with the approach of preserving some character areas, while encouraging larger growth in others. Finalization is expected in 2023.
On May 9, 2023, members of the Boston Planning & Development Agency joined our monthly meeting to present on PLAN: Downtown, the Downtown Office Conversion Study, and other planning initiatives impacting Downtown. Their presentation slides are available below.
